The Retired Racehorse Project's goal is to encourage more equestrians to choose Thoroughbreds as their next recreational or competitive mounts. Here's how we're currently focusing on this goal:

Educate

  • Off-Track Thoroughbred Magazine, the award-winning quarterly publication of the RRP and the only publication dedicated to Thoroughbreds in careers after racing
  • Our online library of content dedicated to all things Thoroughbred, from basic guides to selecting and bringing home your first OTTB to in-depth training, nutrition and behavioral topics
  • The Master Class clinic series, in which trainers demonstrate various approaches to early training with a recently-retired racehorse
  • Webinars, panel discussions, presentations and demonstrations both online and at events and expos

Serve

  • Online horse listings and resources for safe buying and selling, including sales contracts
  • Logo wear and accessories for horse and rider

Inspire

  • The Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, the largest and most lucrative retraining competition for ex-racehorses as well as the largest national gathering of those with an interest in Thoroughbred aftercare
